Ingredient Preparation
- Remove the seeds from your tatashe, oshombo, and scotch bonnet pepper, then wash them properly. Add them into a blender together with your onions and blend roughly to form a slightly textured pepper mix. Mince in your garlic as well to give the sauce a richer and more flavorful taste.
- Once that’s done, wash your onions, carrots and bell peppers properly, then cut them into long thin strips. These vegetables will add color, crunch, and beauty to the stir fry pasta with beef.
- Wash your beef thoroughly and cut it into small bite-sized pieces. This helps the beef cook faster and blend well with the pasta and vegetables.
- Clean out your fresh tomatoes properly, then dice them into small pieces or blend lightly, depending on the texture you want for your sauce.
- Boil water in a separate pot and add a little salt. Pour in your pasta and cook until it becomes tender but still slightly firm. Avoid overcooking so the pasta holds its texture when mixed with the sauce. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
How to Make Stir Fry Pasta With Beef
Step 1: First, place your beef in a bowl and season it with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, minced garlic, seasoning, and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly so the spices coat the beef evenly. Then, leave it to marinate for about 10 minutes so the flavors soak properly into the meat.
Step 2: Next, place a dry pan on medium heat and pour in your vegetable oil. Allow the oil to heat for about 2 minutes before adding the marinated beef. Fry the beef for 10- 15 minutes on medium to high heat.
Stir occasionally until it turns golden brown and develops a rich flavor. Once done, remove the beef from the oil and set it aside.

Step 3: After that, use the same pan to build more flavor. Add your sliced or diced onions and minced garlic in the oil. Sautรฉ for a few seconds until fragrant.
Step 4: Then, pour in the fresh tomatoes along with seasoning and salt. Stir continuously and allow the mixture to fry properly until the sauce thickens slightly. Fry for 5 minutes.
Step 5: Now, return the fried beef to the pan and stir well to combine with the sauce.
Step 6: Go in with your roughly blended peppers. Fry for 3 minutes.

Step 7: Once you have fried for 3 minutes, immediately add your sliced carrots and bell peppers, then stir fry everything together for a few minutes. At this stage, the vegetables will add crunch, color, and freshness to your stir fry pasta with beef.
Step 8: Pour the sauce into the already boiled pasta. Mix thoroughly so the pasta absorbs all the rich flavors from the beef and vegetables. Allow the stir fry pasta with beef to cook for 2 more minutes, then turn off the heat.

Scoop into a plate, garnish however you like, and serve warm. You can pair this dish with fried plantain and a chilled glass of zobo drink for an even more satisfying meal.
